The amazing lines of this table and chairs wouldn’t let them pass it by. With a quick sand of the top to level out some deep scratches… they were ready to paint.

Tracy has been a professional finisher for many years.  Decorative painting and murals were the focus of her business during the late 80’s, and 90’s.  When the DIY market was hit with this new option for redoing furniture, she jumped right in.  Not only for her own business but she started holding classes in within her community to teach others.

However the line of paint she was using was difficult to keep consistent when waxing. The balance of too little to too much was hard to teach others to be successful with and mixing colors was difficult due to the pallet. When Tracy found American Paint Company, she was immediately taken by the bright pallet, true black Cannonball and variety of neutrals.  Also, working with paints every day also comes with health concerns.

The Cannonball is one of the top selling colors in her little studio and the Gunpowder was the perfect complement.

The Moroccan stencil pattern gave the top some texture. The seat cushions were also painted with the Gunpowder to cover staining and tie the two pieces together.

Amazing outcome. In Tracy’s words “I can’t say enough about our decision to switch to APC paints for our customers and our in-house projects. APC is the safest line I have found and feel comfortable using it and sharing it with others, even my jr. students.  After working with the paints and waxing process I knew this was the line I wanted to use.  It has been amazingly received and has also helped others by switching over to this product.  Safe, easy to use and beautiful results.  Triple threat!!!”
