This n’ That Thursday – A French Provincial Dresser

This beautiful solid wood Dixie French Provincial Dresser has had a gorgeous makeover… Sometimes my pieces have to sit a while.  And this one finally spoke to me.  All the details what would I do?

American Paint Company truly makes a wonderful paint.

I have been so impressed with the coverage and the consistency.

I love using it.

It is a bit creamier straight from the can,

but I just pour it in my little bowl add a touch of water and it’s perfect!!

That, my friends, means you are getting the most product for your money!! Adding water to thin it a bit means there’s still a lot left in that quart!! And that’s making me a happy girl.  But I digress… I used Surfboard.  I could just stop with that, but I decided to add Home Plate also for a small accent color.  I also used a warm silver metallic paint from my tool box.  And dark wax to pull out the green undertones.  You may have noticed a time or two that this color is one of my favorites.  And it’s the perfect aqua if you just use a straight clear wax or top coat.  Love Love!!

Enjoy!!

Sides of drawers I used a metallic wrapping paper and mod podged the drawers.  Little fun touch when you open…
