Welcome back to True Colors Thursday! This week we are featuring Heaven’s Light, the perfect soft yellow.
Yellow is such a happy color and Heaven’s Light brings a softness that is just right. Whether paired with bold colors, tone on tone or neutrals, yellow is a happy spot in the room. You can see from this french cafe inspired kitchen featured in House Beautiful, it is a lovely backdrop on the room’s featured tile. Imagine waking up to this each morning!
Soft yellow makes a slightly bolder statement coupled with stronger tones throughout this room featured in Traditional Home. From the background of the artwork, to the subtle touches around the room in fabric and textiles, the soft yellow still keeps this room happy amongst the rich woods and yummy textures.
Oh how we adore this bathroom from designer Jane Coslick featured on House of Turquoise! Although the fabulous texture on the woodwork was created over time, it could easily be recreated with our Textured Clay Finish! A mirror, like the one featured here, would be a perfect starting point to try out this wonderful technique. Why not give it a whirl? You will be hooked and our American Grit can be the final finish to give that authentic aged look.
Why not try Heaven’s Light with something different? Check out these pairings.
Heaven’s Light looks great amongst it’s diverse companions.
