Who, What, Where Wednesday – Paint Me Beautiful

My name is Jodie Swingle and I am living my DREAM!

I have been painting for 20+ years, interior, exterior, commercial and residential.  I expanded my realm of service to interior decorating and started painting, updating and repurposing items in the home to reflect the clients personality in their space.  My basement and garage quickly filled up with projects and I needed a place to work without the dog, cat and hubby getting into my fresh paint and layering my projects with dust, dirt and hair.  I contacted an interior decorator friend who has a warehouse building that she wasn’t using and things have totally snowballed from there! Paint Me Beautiful was born.

I knew that I wanted to have chalk and clay paint in my store and that I wanted to be a part of educating, inspiring and helping my clients with their painting needs.

I found American Paint Company out there amongst the rest on the net and I really liked the blogs, the facebook pages and the tutorials from the APC website and I was sold on the 100% pure made in America products that these amazing women were “sharing and building” their businesses with.

We officially opened with Our Grand Opening Weekend the first of April!  We were humbled with the best of friends and family joining us to make it a huge success.

My local TV station was there to welcome our new business on the evening and morning news and we have not stopped since.   We love sharing our all natural chalk and clay paint with our customers and teaching and inspiring them throughout the process.  I truly love having a “home” where you can shop, be creative, inspire each other or just stop by for a tea party!

Hillary Swingle, Kelly Wiler and Karista Jasper are awesome, each one bringing their unique talent to the store.  We are growing by leaps and bounds.  Our paint sales, our increasing paint techniques and our creativity are just barely tapped.  We have so many ideas and projects to do that we keep each other excited and inspired.
