FullSizeRenderWhat Does American Paint Company and the New Year have in common? The Answer is Sparkle  and Shine!!

Everywhere we look, whether it be Facebook, TV, or the Newspaper, wishes for the New Year are filled with Glitter and Sparkle.

At American Paint Company, we are proud to introduce our New Metallix line of paints! That’s right you read that correctly! We now have 7 Gorgeous Metallix .

They are Left to Right: Gun Metal, Gold, Oyster, Copper, Cognac, Champagne and Pearl.

They are slightly Sheer in single coat yet , the more coats that are applied the more “paint like” it will be. They have a built in finish so after the desired number of coats, you are done.

If you want added durability you may Top coat or Hard coat over them if desired.

You can create a metallic wash simply by adding a small amount of water.

black table

For this Gorgeous Black and shiny table we used Cannon Ball over the entire table. We then applied several coats of  Gun Metal Metallix to the top.  The side accents and drawer front got less coats for a more sheer finish.   We followed this with a final 2 coats of Top Coat for added durability.

For this very Glamorous table we used a custom mix of Powder room and Shingle on the Roof for the base.  We painted the top Limoges then applied several coats of Gold Metallix. The drawer pulls also got a fresh coating of the Gold Metallix.  Again we sealed the top with Hard Coat for added durability.

The possibilities are endless with what you can create with our New Metallix line of Paints.

Mix, match, experiment and most of all have fun

and enjoy this new line as we are extremely proud of it.

We look forward to seeing all of your new projects come to life.

  1. I am soooo excited about these and can’t WAIT to play with them!!!! Perfect addition to a great line!;)

  2. Can you use this paint on metal? My dishwasher is the last appliance in my kitchen that is not stainless steel but is too new to replace. Can I use the Mettalix oyster on the front panel?
