A Dresser Remade

Sharing with you some pictures of a chest of drawers a customer brought in to paint.  We were so excited about the color choices and the potential transformation that we forgot to take a “before” picture.  Trust me… this is a dramatic transformation.  The piece was originally finished with an orange-brown stain (eekkk).  It sat in a closet because it just wasn’t pretty.  This piece will now be the centerpiece of a guest bedroom. She was gleaming with pride and excited that her grandmother’s piece is now “out of the closest”.  Enjoy.

All American Paint Company products were used to transform this piece.

Home Plate – base of dresser and drawers

Wild Horses with a clear glaze tinted with Freedom Road

Top Coat – 3 coats

Peacock, Surfboard and Lincoln’s Hat on the handles.  Copper was underneath but you could use APC’s Copper Mica to get the same look.
