Chalk Painting Kitchen Cabinets in Smoke Signal and Crushed Tea

Before
We are in love with these 1980’s kitchen cabinets that Beverly from Balloons Tycoons was able to turn around to a modern look with just American Paint Company’s gray Smoke Signal, Crushed Tea & sealed with APC’s durable Hard Coat liquid sealer.
From vintage to modern. We can’t take our eyes off this transformation!

We can’t believe it is the same kitchen! As you can see in the before photo, these kitchen cabinets were on the high end of gloss and with a bit of APC love, Beverly was able to turn them into something modern, beautiful & stunning by chalk painting them with American Paint Company products. She painted them using 2/3 Smoke Signal and 1/3 Crushed tea with 2 coats.
Then she sealed with APC’s durable Hard Coat sealer. Typically Hard Coat is an outdoor sealer because of it’s durability. But often times we see Hard Coat being used as a durable sealer for kitchen cabinets because they see a lot of high traffic use.
A little love goes a long way. Thank you Beverly for sharing.

Were these painted with a brush or sprayed?
