For just $20 and a little research on Facebook, Darlene Mitchell From Mainely Vintage found these 2 end tables.
Chalk Painting Solid Cherry End Tables with American Paint Company
Darlene tells us the tables were very sturdy and of good quality, and probably about 15 – 20 years old.
Often times the best quality furniture is the old oak furniture that was made decades ago. And with a little updating of color, your old furniture can be turned into something useful and trendy once again!
Clay paint is nice and thick, so there was no need to sand or prime the end tables before putting on the coats of paint.
Here’s how Darlene repainted her 2 end tables:
- She painted the end tables and lightly distressed them.
- Then, she added some design to the corners with a Stencil and Smoke Signal paint (white / grey color).
- Finally, she sealed them with an all-natural Clear Vintage Antiquing Wax from American Paint Company.
Great finds are everywhere, just keep your eyes open and with a little American Paint Company love you can transform any old piece into something beautiful.
