Paint Workshop for Cancer Patients

46 Cancer Patients had a great time at a wonderful paint workshop event sponsored by the Cancer Fighters Program. The food and room rental were all provided by CTCA Cancer Fighters Program.

The founder of American Paint Company, Amrita Reitz donated paint and products again for the second year in a row.

Lisa DeSantiago, a former patient of CTCA and an American Paint Company authorized retailer from Montana helped put the entire event together.  When she flew into Arizona for the workshop, the paint and supplies were waiting for her in the room.

“It was like Christmas when Jen and I walked into our hotel room and got to open that huge box of our favorite paint. I have been a patient at Cancer Treatment Centers of American (CTCA) since 2013 and am now in remission. These centers are beyond amazing. And I know how much these kind of activities did for me.”

“I am thrilled when I am able to give that kind of fun to other patients and caregivers. It’s 4-5 hours of not thinking about the next test, treatment or even being sick.”

We want to thank Lisa for her efforts in making this event happen, and for giving back in such a creative way.
