Rustic Ranch Log Furniture LTD!

Last fall we moved out of the home we had lived in for 15 years, and we kept the house and did some renos before listing it for sale. When the kitchen sink came out I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it, so I tucked it away for a project this spring. I had an old free standing butcher block that didn’t survive the move, so we took the top off, and saved the legs for the same project. With some wood scraps we had left from the renovation, my husband turned the sink into a great sand and water table for our boys, and we were able to repurpose the butcher block legs to hold it up, I love it because we got to keep a little bit of our family home with us in our new home.

Sand table painting helpers!

Sand table painting helpers!

I’ve been using APC products since about February of this year, and I love the how easy they are to use. My son’s – who are 3 and 5, helped paint this piece, and then helped wet distress it as well. It was quick to use, and from start to finish it was probably only a 3 hour process. I love that it’s safe for them to use with me, and the results are great. It’s been in use for about 2 months now, and it looks great, the hard coat is really doing a great job of protecting the paint, and it’s seen some serious use and testing by my helpers.

  1. Aw, this was an exceptionally nice post. Taking a few minutes
and actual effort to generate a good article… but what can I say… I hesitate
a whole lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.

We Love to Hear From You
