A sofa/entry table is painted in Backyard Pond and a custom glaze was mixed using APC’s Clear Glaze and Freedom Road.  Rough sawn wood was painted with a wash of Smoke Signal and then it was dry brushed with Freedom Road, Smoke Signal, Backyard Pond and a tad of Navajo White creating textural interest and beauty!

This beautiful piece was painted by Lisa DeSantiago owner of Double Take Decor, Hamilton, MT.

Twigs and Twine

Twigs and Twine

Talk about a score! Lori owner of Twigs and Twine, Littleton, CO, found matching chairs in a dumpster, she fondly calls them the “dumpster jewels” and she gave them new life.  She painted the chairs with American Paint Company Backyard Pond and then distressed heavily to show some of the original green finish, she then applied a Topiary wash overtop.  Finished with Dark Wax and new upholstery for the cushions.  Beautiful!

A Piece of the Pie Frames - Front Lawn

This beautiful drum table is a show stopper painted in American Home Collection’s Front Lawn!  Lisa chose Front Lawn for her table and Dark Wax for her finish, creating depth and beauty.  Pure perfection!

The Vintage Dames

Kathy Cook 7-27-15 dresser

Kathy Cook owner of The Vintage Dames, Harrisburg, PA, painted a cigar box and transformed it into a keepsake box, it was painted with APC’s Peacock and topped with AHC’s Shingle on the Roof, and the other is a vintage, waxed paper/foil/plastic wrap organizer, it was also painted with Peacock and Shingle on the Roof.  Kathy used American Paint Company Hard Coat to decoupage the copies of the crabs on both pieces and then sealed them with Hard Coat!  The paper holder could be used as a storage shelf, and Kathy said she may put it in her boat.  The crab art is a print from, W. Carl Ealy, North Carolina.  We love the quirky and unexpected crabs on her pieces!
