Uncle Sam is a pure bright white and it’s the perfect white when mixing your own custom colors or beautiful all by its self!
Uncle Sam was created to accompany any shade of color as well as be the star of show. Our paintriot’s have been busy painting beautiful pieces with Uncle Sam, and we share a few to inspire and uplift you!
Treasure Broker gave a magazine holder with graceful cures and lines, even more elegance using, Uncle Sam and Gold Mica gilding was used for an extra special touch on the curved and beaded embellished edges!
Double Take Decor, Hamilton, MT, painted Uncle Sam on a wonderful French inspired bedroom dresser and night stand. Embossed wallpaper was applied to the drawer fronts and painted with Uncle Sam, Silver Mica was mixed with Top Coat for the finishing touch, giving them an extra shimmer and APC’s Silver Mica was also used to update the hardware.
A French inspired coffee table was painted with Uncle Sam, and Embossed wallpaper was applied to the coffee table apron, it finished with clear Top Coat. Double Take Decor used rough Sawn wood instead of glass in this piece giving it a unique rustic elegance! We love it!
Outdated end tables new life using Uncle Sam as painted base for the tables and a quatrefoil patterned stencil was painted with APC’s Beach Glass on the table tops. They look perfect and fresh!

Ivy Lane painted a sweet desk in Uncle Sam and Coral Reef for the desktop. A beautiful linear Quatrefoil stenciled design was painted using Uncle Sam adding charming character to this piece!
Ivy Lane painted “Love You Madly” with Uncle Sam for the base of this hand painted sign, Plymouth Rock to add striping details and Freedom Road for the verbiage.
Another hand painted folk art sign using, Uncle Sam for the base, Gunpowder and Bordello for its verbiage, also painted by Ivy Lane, Newburyport, MA!
Farmer’s Daughter painted a dark outdated chair using Sackcloth, Uncle Sam and Surfboard. The caned sides were painted with Uncle Sam, the legs and surround were painted with Sackcloth and all upholstery was painted with Surfboard, a nice beachy shade of blue. Two coats of full strength paint was used overall with a light sanding to soften the upholstery. Top Coat was used for the upholstery finish and wax for the chair’s structure.
Beautiful wouldn’t you agree!
Funked UP in Pincher Creek, AB, painted a small table with APC’s Born on the 4th as the base coat and Uncle Sam as a second color over top. The table was heavily distressed and clear wax was used to finish all of this shabby goodness!
