Diamonds, Stripes and Swarovski crystals!

Gabrielle of, Oomph!,  she shares her beautiful hand painted unique coffee table with the American Paint Company community!

The table belonged to the customer.  It is solid wood and well crafted. They had it for years but were bored with the originally blonde piece and didn’t find it to be a fit for their new home.  They looked for something else, but couldn’t really find anything they liked it its place.  They had considered painting it for a while and decided to do so upon their arrival to Sarasota.  This piece is my first commissioned piece, and first time doing something this style. The customer requested a “statement piece”. Their desired elements were diamonds, stripes, and checkerboard…the rest was left up to me. We met at their home to pick up the table and chat about their expectations.
It fits perfectly with their expectations and in their home. They loved it enough to give me another piece to complete for their guest room.
I originally had concerns about how the paint would do under the design stipulations…taping, taping and more taping.
