Make time to CREATE…like Lorraine Stubbins did!

Lorraine used the following APC products to CREATE some pretty awesome pieces:

Here is what she has to tell us about her pieces:

I did 7 pieces in my master bedroom!

• Barn board bed I built myself in 2001
• 5 drawer dresser
• a wooden desk
• 2 night stands
• an IKEA computer desk
• a wooden chair.
• I painted 3 lampshades and the lamps to match and compliment the look.

I have never used chalk paint before, but have done the inside of my current home and the outside hardi-plank siding using Latex , on this home when I built it in 2009.

I found the American Paint Company chalk paint really nice to work with as no primer or sanding were needed. I TSP’d the prices to clean them all first, then started right in on the biggest piece my queen sized bed.

It all turned out very nicely and turned a Hodge Podge of pieces into a very pleasingly uniform effect.

I am just thrilled with the results, and Altho no one has been in my house to see the results, I have had many people comment on my FB postings of the room now.

Other friends will definitely be trying American Paint Company Chalk Paint now that I have shared my experience with it, I will do my spare guest room next!
